    Courtney graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations in 2004 and her master’s degree in College Student Personnel Administration in 2007.  She worked in higher education and in distribution management before transitioning into the non-profit sector.  For the last 5 years/currently, Courtney is the executive director of Pediatrics Plus Community Connections- an organization in central Arkansas dedicated to providing free extra-curricular activities for children with special needs & support for their families.  Courtney is currently serving as the president of the Conway Kiwanis Club, who’s mission is to “change the world, one child at a time.”  Courtney and her husband Trip have 4 young children (Quinten 8, Alex 6, Bentley 2, and Abigail Jane 1) and are on staff at New Life Church.

    Craig Cloud was born in Pine Bluff, AR and and primarily raised in Fort Smith, AR and graduated from Southside High School.  He is a graduate of Westark College (now University of Arkansas, Fort Smith) and Arkansas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance/Economics. Since graduation from college, he has been employed in the private not for profit industry, including the last 16 years in the field of Developmental/Intellectual Disabilities. He is currently employed as Chief Compliance and Governmental Affairs Officer for the Arkansas Enterprises for the Developmentally Disabled, Inc.

   Charlotte Rainey Green is the 13th of 16 children from Cleveland, Arkansas. She received her BSE in Elementary and Special Education. She continued her learning with a MSE in Gifted Curriculum and completed her education with an EDD in Education Leadership. An educator for 16 years, Dr. Green served as a first grade teacher, fifth grade teacher, gifted specialist, homebound instructor, assistant principal, and principal. She currently supervises the Gifted and Advanced Placement Programs for the Conway Public School District and is an adjunct professor for the University of Central Arkansas. She is also the founder and executive director of Lifelong Learner, Inc., a nonprofit organization that works with preschool centers to support school readiness.

    Dr. Green is a national education consultant focusing on literacy, parental involvement, and cultural competency. The writer of two books, Because I Said So: A Discussion on Parenting Styles and Achievement Gaps and Parent Bailout: The Bailout that is Really Crippling America, she is a published author who has written several articles.

She is a mother, wife, and an established community leader who gives of her time by serving in her church, volunteering on non-profit boards, and supporting community strengthening initiatives.

 

Manny Sepulveda

Hispanic Initiative Coordinator

University of Central Arkansas

Manny Sepulveda is a marketing professional specializing in “Hispanic Markets”. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Central Arkansas (UCA). He is also a certified bi-lingual paralegal in Administrative Law. He is currently serving as Hispanic Initiative Coordinator with UCA.

 

He is active volunteer on issues of justice, equality and immigrant rights. He is a member of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), the NAACP of Faulkner County, a board member of Just Community of Arkansas, and was recently awarded a LULAC grant to design a project to assist immigrants become American citizens.
